Popular Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest, has reaffirmed his strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying his loyalty to his party APC remains firm despite public criticism.
Speaking on his political stance, the celebrity barman stated that his support for Tinubu is “not shakeable,” noting that he took time to assess the achievements of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in his home state before arriving at his decision.
Cubana Chief Priest also emphasized the importance of national unity, saying Nigerians should support one another regardless of tribe or ethnic background. According to him, many of the people who positively impacted his life and career have been Yoruba individuals, which also influenced his perspective.
The socialite revealed that he supported Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election but stressed that he is willing to support the current administration since the election is over and Tinubu is now in office.
He further stated that although he believes he could contribute more if he were directly involved in decision-making, he has chosen to back the present government in the interest of progress.
His comments have continued to generate reactions on social media, with supporters praising his openness while critics questioned his political position and recent endorsement of the president.
