Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill has dismissed claims about him being married to actress Rosy Meurer, in a statement where he addressed the controversy insisting that no such marriage existed.
He also questioned the legitimacy of documents being circulated publicly, noting that he was never formally served with any legal notice. According to him, due process requires that all parties involved in a legal proceeding be properly notified and given the opportunity to respond, which he says did not happen in this case.
Churchill further expressed skepticism about the speed and authenticity of the alleged legal process, suggesting that the timeline of the purported hearing and judgment raises doubts about its validity. He criticized what he described as poor legal guidance and misinformation influencing the situation.
The businessman added that external interference can complicate personal matters, especially when relationships involve pre-existing family dynamics. He emphasized the importance of allowing individuals to manage their responsibilities without unnecessary involvement from third parties.
Addressing his past relationship with actress Tonto Dikeh, Churchill noted that both parties have moved on from previous disputes. He stated that they have forgiven each other and expressed the belief that she is now in a better place.
