Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, urging citizens to embrace unity, hope and sacrifice during the festive period.
In his Sallah message on X, Peter Obi said Eid-el-Kabir represents obedience, compassion, faith and love for humanity, stating the need for Nigerians to remain hopeful despite the country’s current hardship.
He called on citizens to pray for security personnel and those in public services, wisdom for leaders and economic relief for struggling Nigerians, while also encouraging peace, tolerance and unity across religious and ethnic lines.
Obi further expressed hope for a better and more productive Nigeria, wishing Muslims a peaceful and joyful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
